Eye Enucleation Scissors

Eye enucleation scissors are specialised surgical scissors used in ophthalmic / ocular surgery to remove the eyeball (globe) by cutting the optic nerve, internal ophthalmic artery and vein, and associated tissues. 

The curved jaws allow the instrument to slip behind the globe (eyeball) to sever those structures without excessive traction on the surrounding tissues.
