The Hatt Spoon is an alternative to a traditional disarticulator. Used particularly in larger dogs where greater leverage and control is required to perform joint disarticulation and ligament division. The spoon-shaped scoop with a sharp edge is designed to slide around femoral head and engage the teres ligament.
