Plate Holding Forceps

Temporarily hold an orthopedic plate in the correct position on the bone while screws are inserted.  Ball-tipped jaws that fit into the screw holes of the plate to prevent slipping.  After the plate is aligned, the surgeon can drill and insert screws without the plate shifting.

Also can be used as a fragment forcep in young, soft bone, as the balls prevent over penetration.

Stainless steel.  Ratchet to hold. 16cm long.
