Treves rat tooth forceps are dissecting and tissue-holding forceps, characterised by their interdigitating “rat-tooth” tips— 1x2 teeth (one tooth on one jaw fitting between two teeth on the other). Used to grasp skin, fascia, and other dense tissues during dissection or suturing.
